    Weld or glue? Gluing is easier!

    J.B. Weld is a high-performance, two-component epoxy adhesive that features exceptional strength and durability, and is known as a cold welding solution. Once cured, it can withstand temperatures up to 287°C, making it the ideal solution for demanding applications where a strong bond is required without the use of heat.

    Mixing the ingredients.

    Squeeze the two ingredients in a 1:1 ratio onto a disposable surface and mix thoroughly to a uniform grey colour.

    Easy application.

    Apply the mixed adhesive evenly with a suitable tool to the glued area. Ensure that the adhesive covers the entire surface of the joint to ensure maximum strength and adhesion.

    Press and fix.

    The mixture takes 4-6 hours to cure. Full curing occurs after 15-24 hours. It all depends on the shape of the joint, the type of material to be bonded, the ambient temperature and the layer of adhesive applied.
    Do not move the glued object before 6 hours have elapsed and wait at least 15 hours before using the object again!!

    Features of the adhesive:

    It has a high strength of 5020 PSI ( = 34.61 Mpa = 353 Kg/cm2 ).

    • Excellent adhesion on metal surfaces, including aluminium and steel.
    • Suitable for joining stone, concrete, fibreglass, ceramics, wood and hard plastics.
    • Resists high temperatures, water, oil, chemicals and acids.
    • Once cured, it can be drilled, cut, sanded, shaped and coated.

    Sealant application:

    Surface preparation:

    • Clean the surface of dirt, grease, oil, paint or loose particles.
    • Use a cleaner or degreaser and then roughen the surface with a file or coarse sandpaper for best adhesion.

    Mixing:

    • Squeeze each component in a 1:1 ratio onto a disposable surface.
    • Mix thoroughly with a "stirrer" until uniform grey colour.

    App:

    • Apply the mixed adhesive evenly with a suitable tool.
    • Shape and adjust as necessary to cover the surface of the glued area.

    Hardening:

    • Let the mixture harden for 4-6 hours. Full curing occurs after 15-24 hours. Do not move the object during curing and wait at least 15 hours before using it again.
