    J-B WELD | SteelStik™

    SteelStik™ is a hand-mixed, steel-containing epoxy sealant for fast and effective repairs on metal materials. This sealer is ideal not only for metal repairs, but also for other materials such as stone, concrete, fiberglass and hard plastics.

    Very simple processing.

    Prepare the approximate amount of sealant you will need for the repair. Thoroughly knead it with your fingers to get a uniform colour. You can shape and modify it as needed.

    Its application is easy and working with it is like modelling with plasticine and even children will like to help you.

    Only 60 minutes.

    The drying or setting time is only 3-5 minutes. Complete curing of the sealant occurs after 60 minutes. Then you can drill, thread, machine, grind, file and paint.


    Sealant application:

    Step 1: Prepare the surface. Clean the surface of dirt (grease, oil, paint or loose dirt). For best results, use a cleaner or degreaser to clean the surface.

    Step 2: Cut. After removing the sealant from the plastic package, separate the amount needed for your repair.

    Step 3: Prepare the mass. Thoroughly knead the sealant with your fingers to ensure a uniform colour. Shape and adjust as needed.

    Step 4: Dry. The drying or setting time is only 3-5 minutes. Complete curing of the sealant occurs after 60 minutes. Do not move the repair object during the drying process. If the ambient temperature is less than 5°C, the drying and curing time is prolonged.
