    J-B Weld | Kwik Wood

    KwikWood™ is a hand-mixed epoxy sealer designed for repair and reconstruction of wood and wood-based products. Once mixed, it cures to the same density as wood and becomes an integral part of the part being repaired. It is designed for exterior and interior use, contains no solvents, does not rot, shrink, crack or tear.

    KwikWood™ can be moulded for 15-25 minutes before the mass is fully set. Once set, it can be painted immediately and will not crumble or shrink as it dries.

    Repairs are a breeze.

    It's easy to apply and works like modelling with plasticine and even kids will love to help you. This sealer finds its use especially in filling holes and other damage in wood caused by rot, insects or other factors.

    And it goes really fast.

    After 60 minutes, it can be machined, drilled, tapped, sanded, filed and painted. KwikWood™ is stronger than wood and dries to a light brown color.

    Paste application:

    Step 1: Prepare the surface. Clean the surface of dirt (grease, oil, paint or loose debris). For best results, you can use a cleaner or degreaser to clean the surface. Then roughen and coat the bonded surface with WoodRestore to ensure the best adhesion of the sealant.

    J-B Wood Restore™ Liquid Hardener is a fast-drying liquid for sealing and hardening rotten or decayed wood. The special liquid formula penetrates the wood and hardens the grain, stopping further rot and providing a strong base for J-B Wood Restore™ premium epoxy sealer.

    Step 2: Cut. After removing the sealant from the plastic package, separate the amount needed for your repair.

    Step 3: Prepare the compound. Thoroughly knead the putty with your fingers to make it a uniform color. Shape and adjust as needed.

    Step 4: Dry. Drying or setting time is only 15-25 minutes. Full curing of the sealant occurs after 60 minutes. Do not move the repair object during the drying process, i.e. until it is fully cured. If the ambient temperature is less than 5°C, the drying and curing time is prolonged.
