J-B Weld | HighHeat™ refractory sealant

J-B WELD HighHeat™ is a hand-mixable epoxy putty stick specifically formulated for bonding and repairing materials that will be exposed to high temperatures in automotive and industrial maintenance applications. This sealant cures to a strong, hard joint with little or no shrinkage, making it an industrial-strength product that outperforms conventional epoxies at high temperatures.

Sealant application:

1. Prepare the surface:

   • Clean the surface of dirt (grease, oil, paint or loose dirt). For best results, use a cleaner or degreaser to clean the surface.

2. Cut it off:

   • After removing the sealant from the plastic package, separate the amount needed for your repair.

3. Prepare the mass:

   • Thoroughly knead the sealant with your fingers to ensure a uniform colour. Shape and adjust as needed.

4. Dry:

   • Drying takes 1 hour at room temperature. Full curing occurs after 8 hours. Do not move the repair object during the drying process.
