The Japanese Dozuki hand saw represents the pinnacle of precision wood cutting. With its help it is possible to achieve exceptionally clean and smooth cuts, which are essential for quality joinery and joinery work. Thanks to specially designed teeth and a thin blade, it allows the realisation of intricate details that would be difficult to achieve with conventional saws.

Main advantages:

• The Dozuki saw blade is characterised by its thinness, which often reaches only 0.3 mm. The cross-cut teeth are ground into a trapezoid (so-called diamond cut) and cut the fibre like a razor blade. The last tooth is always parallel with a small flat at the end of the saw blade for fine finishing of the cut.
• The handle of the Dozuki is typically made of lightweight wood, which ensures a comfortable grip even with prolonged use. The handle is riveted, which increases its strength and durability. The ergonomic design of the handle is crucial for precise and safe cutting, as it allows the user to maintain a stable and accurate pressure while cutting.
• Thanks to their unique features, Dozuki saws are ideal for detail work and for cutting precision joints such as herringbone joints or precision-faced joints. They are suitable for working with hard and soft woods and find application not only in joinery, but also in model making and fine joinery.
• Due to its precision and the need for careful handling, the Dozuki saw is particularly suitable for experienced users who require a high level of detail in their work. It is not recommended for rough work or for quick material removal as its fine teeth and thin blade can be easily damaged if used incorrectly.
