    The 3rd generation Pica-Dry is a professional marking pencil engineered for tough conditions and popular for its reliability, versatility and long life.

    The pencil writes on almost any surface, including smooth and slippery materials such as glass, ceramic, plastic and metal. It also marks on wood, concrete and even greasy or dirty surfaces.

    Interchangeable inks of different colours and hardnesses.

    Inks are available in a variety of colours and hardnesses, including special variants for carpenters, wet cutting or resistant to temperatures up to 70 °C, which will be especially appreciated by building plumbers. Thanks to the interchangeable refills, they are ideal for marking on various surfaces in dry and wet conditions.

    Use:

    • Pencil and assembly work (special hardness "H" inks for wood, not suitable for laminated surfaces for which we recommend hardness 2B).
    • Multi-purpose use: whether you are a carpenter, drywaller, flooring contractor, plumber, tiler, electrician, or DIYer, the Pica Dry pencil is designed to suit a wide range of professions and needs.
    • Waterproof ink for wet cuts: ideal for tiling and working in wet environments. The Pica Dry pencil allows you to mark on wet surfaces without smudging.
    • All other construction professions.

    The Pica Dry pencil is your essential everyday work tool that will increase your productivity and leave a lasting impression of precise and professional work.

    We've improved:New "Power Lock" mechanism holds the ink with three times more force, umbrella-shaped cap better protects the pencil against water run-off.

    Versatile capabilities with optional special colored inks for light or dark surfaces or water-soluble and water-resistant inks .Combined with a coloured waterproof ink, it is ideal for tiling and wet cutting.

    We've improved:

    • New convenient sleeve and protective cover in one, with a special clip for perfect one-handed handling.
    • Patented upgraded (as of 06/2019) integrated sharpener in the tip of the sleeve - always at hand.
    • New mechanism for automatic ink feeding in the stainless steel tube with a diameter of approx. 6 mm (if the ink starts to stick, often just cleaning the jaws is enough).
    • Extremely long service life due to the high quality technical design of the product.
    • Improved protection against dust and moisture.

    Refilling a new ink cartridge

    To protect the mechanism in the marker and to increase its lifetime, we recommend always refilling from the back side. Then press the cap firmly in.

    Cleaning the pencil mechanism.

    If the mechanics are no longer broken, the following can be done:

    • Remove the refill.
    • Submerge the pencil tip (metal tube) in hot water.
    • Wet it several times to activate the mechanism.
    • Blow and allow to dry.
