Selder - strong linen soap
Code: S10701Product detailed description
Very durable dirt: Brush the surface with soap and leave it on. Use a dish brush. Repeat if necessary. Suitable for cleaning engines etc.
Heavy pollution: Dilute the soap with about half water or to a density that can be sprayed with a hand-held sprayer. Spray the contaminated surface liberally and leave the soap on. Wipe off dirt and rinse with water.
Light soiling: Dilute the soap up to 1:100 and apply. Leave on and scrub with a brush or wash with a high-pressure cleaner.
Brushes from linseed oil or oil paints: Pour soap over the brush and wash. The soap becomes thinner and/or coloured as the dye dissolves. Rinse with water. Then squeeze the water out of the brush, re-cover with soap and wash. Repeat until the soap is no longer diluted. Rinse the brush thoroughly with water several times. Allow the brush to dry completely before using on SELDER paints or oils.
Dried linseed oil or residue from linseed oil paint: Soak the item in undiluted soap until the dried paint or oil softens and can be removed. This can take several days.
Caution: linseed soap dissolves linseed oil paints and attacks aluminum.
Protection at work: Wear gloves and protect your eyes.
