    Swanson® | Legendary Carpentry Angle.

    • One version in metric.
    • The angle is designed with two sets of gauges when used for common rafter, corner and eave beams.
    • The angle can also be used as a stable guide for an electric saw.
    • The internal scale is used when marking studs and splines.
    Swanson | " Speed Square " metrický tesařský úhelník

    One angle, many possibilities.

    • The jig is used to accurately measure and scribe angles and lines.
    • Scribe notches are placed along the centimeter scale, allowing the user to scribe lines up to 14 cm wide along the entire length of the material.
    • Pivot allows the jig to be easily rotated to measure angles or an existing angle can be determined using a plumb bob.

    The "ONE NUMBER METHOD" developed by Swanson Tool Co., Inc. simplifies the construction of the roof structure (ties). Diagrams, pictures and tables are included in the instructions and will assist you in applying the SPEED Angle to roof structures and other projects. Remember, proper planning will save time and materials. "Measure twice and cut once."

    Description and use:

    • Angle size 25.4cm.
    • Only version in metric
    • The angle is designed with two sets of scales when used for common rafter, corner and eave joist applications.
    • The inner scale (scale) with the smaller numbers is for working in metric figures, while the outer scale (scale) is for working in degrees. By having a full 90° degrees, the scale allows the user to mark any angle in degrees, as well as angles represented in "*decimeter of height per meter of length." You can easily, on the first try, convert degrees to decimeters of height or vice versa.
    • The angle is marked the same on both sides for use on any side of the joist.
    • There are also "Scribe notches" located below the centimeter scale to allow the user to scribe a line up to 14 inches in width along the length, of the entire piece of lumber.
    • The square can also be used as a stable guide for an electric saw.
    • The internal scale is used when marking tenons and splints.
    • Made from lightweight, high quality aluminum alloy.
    • Matte finish for better visibility.
    • The size and features of the angle lend it multiple uses within the construction industry.
