The head is forged from high quality carbon steel with polished curved jaws and a smooth octagonal head.
The chrome-plated handle, made of high carbon steel, is attached to the head with a long wedge extending to the handles to stiffen the hammer neck while absorbing shock. Everything is still encased in resin.
The handle is hollow at the bottom to better balance the whole hammer to avoid unnecessary loss of impact energy.
